Making Sense of Apprenticeships employer briefing, 7th March, Milton Park
We're teaming up with South Oxfordshire District Council & Vale of White Horse District Council's Economic Team this National Apprenticeship Week to hold a free Making Sense of Apprenticeships event for employers.
The event will take place on Tuesday 7th March, 2017 from 08:30 to 10:30 at MEPC Milton Park Innovation Centre, 99 Park Drive, Milton, OX14 4RY.
Come along & find out all about employing an Apprentice and the support that's available to help you. This is your opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have about funding, the Apprenticeship Levy, recruitment... and anything else!
As well as an overview from Oxfordshire Apprenticeships, you'll be able to hear first-hand about what it's like to be an Apprentice from our Apprenticeship Ambassador Emily Rose from Green Biologics Ltd. Emily started her Level 3 Analytical Chemist Apprenticeship in September 2016 and hasn't looked back since. Find out more about Emily.
Rob Green, Emily's tutor and Director of CSR Group who provide the training for Emily’s Apprenticeship will be joining her to explain how the training works.
Also speaking is Ed Collett, Head of Business Development and Marketing at Abingdon & Witney College. Ed will be providing an overview of the college’s role as a training provider and will be able to answer any questions about the training aspect of Apprenticeships and the support available from your training provider.
