Wendy Hart
Wendy is a CF Fellow of the ICAEW and has previously been a Corporate Finance Partner at Grant Thornton in Oxford and the Thames Valley for more than 20 years. She was voted Corporate Finance Adviser of the year at the Thames Valley Deal Awards in 2018.
With a wealth of experience in advising businesses across a range of sectors on value optimisation strategies as well as M&A, private equity and other transactions, Wendy has a particular expertise in advising technology led organisations and is connected to a wide network of Oxfordshire businesses from start-ups to large corporates.
Since arriving in Oxford aged 18, Wendy has always lived and worked in and around the city and is particularly passionate about building meaningful links between business and education in the county as well as ensuring Oxfordshire remains a competitive technology cluster.
During the last 20 years, she has been a governor of various schools as well as of The Oxford Trust and The Oxford Playhouse. She also currently sits on Grant Thornton’s oversight board as an elected member.
She is married to an Oxfordshire headteacher and has two daughters and a (little) dog. In her relatively limited spare time, she enjoys reading, walking and planning holidays!
Wendy was appointed as a Board Director in September 2019 and is a member of our Finance and Audit Committee.
