Compliance status

The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Ensure interactive components are far enough apart

  1. All interactive components on a page, such as buttons or menus, should be far enough apart from other interactive areas, to avoid them being used by mistake. The pagination navigation on case studies, news and events archives does not pass this check. This fails WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion 2.5.8.

We aim to remedy this issue as soon as possible.

Disproportionate burden

Issues with third party element labels and IDs

  1. Some labels within the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin (third party) may not point to valid IDs. This fails the WCAG 2.0 A success criterion 1.3.1
  2. Some table headings within the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin (third party) do not contain a ‘scope’. This fails the WCAG 2.0 A success criterion 1.3.1
  3. Some element IDs are duplicated within the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin (third party) and The Events Calendar plugin (third party). This fails the WCAG 2.0 A success criterion 4.1.1
