Marketing With A Mission Peer to Peer
A peer to peer learning series to help social impact organisations leverage their social & environmental impact to raise their profile.
What can I expect from the peer to peer Group?
A peer to peer series to help social impact organisations leverage their social and environmental impact to increase their visibility and raise their profile.
Building on the Marketing with a Mission Workshop in 2021, this group will bring together individuals working in the social impact space across Oxfordshire. The sessions will enable participants to share their ideas and challenges in a confidential setting, and focus on knowledge-sharing, problem-solving and exploring new connections and collaborations to raise visibility. The series will help organisations to plan and deliver marketing campaigns to be launched by the end of the series.
Sessions will be steered by the group, but could include:
- Marketing strategy – your story (who you are & why people should care) & business goals (what you want to achieve)
- Community building – finding your audience & competitor research
- Brand Voice – creating a voice to speak to your community online
- Content – capturing and sharing stories about your impact that speak to your community for blogs & social media
- Getting social – finding the confidence to speak to your community
- PR & Media – how to get press coverage
Who is it for?
Social entrepreneurs who want to better leverage the social or environmental benefit of their organisation to drive growth and scale impact. The agenda is set by the group. The context is supporting peers to develop new ways of working and building knowledge and skills to expand and develop your business or organisation’s impact.
Why participate?
Participating in a peer group can help you gain fresh perspectives, inspire new ideas and change habits of thinking. It can also help you form new contacts, build networks and gain valuable professional and personal support from a team of like-minded peers.
The group is a place to try out new ideas before they are fully formed, and to share your difficulties as well as celebrate successes.
How will the peer group work?
This will be a small group of around 8 - 10 successful applicants. Spaces are limited in order to maximise the benefit for those participating. Applicants will complete a short questionnaire at registration to help assess suitability and compatibility. You may receive a phone call as part of the application process.
