Start with I: Identifying what drives me and therefore my business
This clinic is for SMEs and is part of a portfolio of workshops delivered by experts sourced from the Saïd Business School's Entrepreneurship Centre’s extensive network. Each participant will be encouraged to develop high level breakthrough objectives and plans designed to improve their personal and businesses performance.
The clinics are in small group sessions to maximise the learning of the participants. Therefore spaces are offered on a first come first served basis, after eligibility has been checked. It is likely that this session will be repeated again in the future, so please add your name to the waitlist if the session is full, and you will be informed if a place becomes available, or of any future dates.
Speaker:
Kate Turner, Motivational Leadership facilitator, experienced leadership development coach and trainer who has designed and delivered programmes to senior executives across a range of sectors.
Outline:
This workshop aims to help attendees understand themselves better, their ambitions, their motivations, improve their self-awareness and what is important for them as a starting point for innovation. The origins of the Motivational Map are based on extensive research into human motivation using three primary sources; Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of Needs, Edgar Scheins Career Anchors and the personality profiling tool the Enneagram.
In a three-hour workshop, attendees will be able to learn about themselves and get a more introspective vision of their main drivers to run their business more successfully and make it more innovative. The first step towards making a company more innovative is to identify whether innovation is aligned with the leaders.
Please note that the workshop is part-funded by European Regional Development Funded (ERDF) and is available to eligible SME applicants as part of phase 2 of the Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) programme. Sign up to this event to express your interest for an ERDF funded place and a member of the ISfB team will follow up with you. Please note that a place on the workshop will not be reserved through making an Eventbrite booking until you have completed and returned an ISfB application form to a member of the ISfB team. A maximum of one ERDF funded ticket per business is available. Please note that the tickets for eligible SMEs are for registered, Limited Companies or people registered for tax purposes as Sole Traders. Please do not try to register if you are a student or pre-start up.
