LAST CHANCE: Oxfordshire businesses encouraged to sign-up to exclusive support programme as it reaches its final stages

As 2021 heads towards its final fortnight the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) is calling out to the county’s business community one final timeurging its leaders to sign-up to an exclusive peer support programme.

OxLEP Business’ peer networks programme – which has already engaged dozens of Oxfordshire businesses from across multiple sectors over the past 12 months – supports companies to resolve challenges explore ambitions and develop new collaborations.

Participants who have already engaged in the programme have benefitted from a series of high-impact group sessions led by OxLEP Business alongside renowned mentors and advisors.

The current peer networks programme – which was launched this summer – is already supporting a whole-host of business leaders from across Oxfordshire and as the current programme reaches its final stagesOxLEP Business are encouraging eligible companies to take one of the programme’s final spaces.

The programme facilitates groups of business leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities and through the programme companies are supported to identify practical solutions to overcome challenges before being matched with coachesmentors and business advisors to help explore future openings and prospects.

Businesses do need to meet certain eligibility criteria to take part in the programme – this includes the need to have been in operation for at least 12 months and to have a turnover of at least £100000 per annum. However OxLEP Business are encouraging Oxfordshire-based companies to get in touch with them to discuss the programme and their potential eligibilityas well as other business support programmes potentially available to them.

Over the past 18 monthsOxLEP have engaged with over 2600 Oxfordshire-based businessesprovided over 12000 hours of business supportand launched and committed £2m-plus of funding via its Business Investment Fund.

In addition – since its formation – the organisation has secured a staggering £1bn-worth of central government and European funds for the Oxfordshire economy across multiple projects.
