Local Growth Fund case study: Connected and autonomous vehicles at Culham Science Centre

We once more reflect on some of the incredible impacts and legacy that investment secured in recent years by OxLEP has had on the Oxfordshire economy.

Completed in 2022 the connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV) project at Culham Science Centre provides CAV companies with top-class2377 sq.ft of purpose-built work space.

In additionwith over 10km of varied and mixed private roadsalongside 2000 workersthe centre provided a unique environment for testing this life-changing technology.

OxLEP secured £2.3 million-worth of investment for the project via the Government’s Local Growth Fund.
