VLOG: A reminder to Oxfordshire businesses – final chance to use the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

Recentlythe Chancellor of the Exchequer outlined further details on how the government support for businesses would operate during the easing of lockdown measures – this includes the Government announcing the closure of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme from 1 July to those not previously furloughed on or before10 June.

With this mindany employer who has not already done so – but wishes to place an employee on the scheme – must do so by this Wednesday (10 June).
