Once again, we are delighted to bring to you the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards for 2023, which will take place on 18 May at the spectacular Williams F1 Conference Centre.
The latest edition of these awards will be the seventh time that they have been held and overseen by OxLEP Skills and – since it was launched in 2017 – the event has shone a tremendous light on successes across a variety of different Apprenticeship schemes, each in their own way bringing new opportunities to young people in Oxfordshire.
The Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2023 are now closed for entries and nominations. Judging us underway and finalists will be announced on 20 April.
Here are your key dates:
- Awards launch and entries open: 1 November 2022
- Entries close: 17 February 2023 (at midnight)
- Finalists announced: 20 April 2023
- Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2023: 18 May 2023

Intermediate Apprentice of the Year
Sponsored by Milestone Infrastructure
To recognise Level 2 Apprentices who have been in post for at least 9 months and have excelled in their work, learning and development and made exceptional contributions to their workplaces.
Advanced Apprentice of the Year

To recognise Level 3 Apprentices who have been in post for at least 9 months and have excelled in their work, learning and development and made exceptional contributions to their workplaces.
Higher / Degree Apprentice of the Year

To recognise Level 4 and above Apprentices who have been in post for at least 9 months and have excelled in their work, learning and development and made exceptional contributions to their workplaces.
Special Recognition Award

To recognise Apprentices at any level who have been in post for at least 9 months and have achieved in overcoming significant challenges or barriers to learning or work.
Rising Star Award

To recognise new Apprentices who have been in post for less than 9 months and have already excelled in their work, learning and development and made exceptional contributions to their workplaces.
Shining Star Award
