Identified as a critical sector with long-standing labour shortages both locally and nationally, the Care Skills Training Centre at the City of Oxford College sets out to support the health and social care system by arming hundreds of learners with the skills to succeed in the sector.
The centre provides acute clinical and residential care facilities for simulated teaching and learning, offering a range of facilities and equipment tailored to required training and educational needs (including state-of-the-art hospital wards, fully equipped home care rooms, emergency care centres, and fully immersive, 3D, VR learning spaces) for those entering the industry.
