Earth Trust, an environmental learning charity, champions accessible natural green spaces for all. This funding has enabled the charity to build Earth Lab – a new, environmentally friendly education centre – and develop an existing barn into an Innovation Hub.

Earth Lab provides flexible classroom space, used to deliver science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and art-based environmental education – in the process doubling Earth Trust’s capacity to engage young people and provide opportunities for bringing environmental science to life throughout the curriculum.

The renovation of a former barn into the new ‘Innovation Hub’, has seen the creation of multi-use business units for sustainability-conscious businesses, whilst acting as an inspiring welcome for visitors.
