Oxfordshire is an unparalleled global leader in the ground-breaking field of quantum computing. With over £150 million in quantum-related funding, the county is on par with other prestigious international ecosystems like Quantum Valley in Canada, Munich, Quantum Valley, Quantum Delft, and Chicago Quantum Exchange.

Taking the lead in this field, the University of Oxford heads the Quantum Computing and Simulation Hub (QCS Hub), a collaboration among 17 universities. Supported by more than 25 national and international commercial and governmental organisations, this hub is driving innovation and advancement in quantum computing.

Further solidifying its position as a quantum computing powerhouse, the UK National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) is being established at Harwell Campus. This £93 million flagship facility is set to host over 120 researchers from academia, industry, government, quantum partner organizations, and start-ups.

It serves as a centre for harnessing the phenomenal potential of quantum technology.
