Cllr Barry Wood
Board Director (local authority representative)
Cllr Barry Wood (BSc ACMA) has been a district or county councillor for more than 20 years and is the current Leader of Cherwell District Council.
He read geography at the University of Salford where he was also President of the Union. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and is the current Chairman of the Strategic Delivery Board for Eco Bicester.
It is in this later role that he actively promotes a popular vision for Bicester that combines quality designs with truly sustainable low-carbon living.
Cllr Wood is a member of our Finance and Audit Committee.
Nominated to the Board as current Leader of Cherwell District Council.
