Board Director and Diversity Champion, representing Bicester (private sector)

Miranda Markham is Community Relations Director at Bicester Village, where she has spent over 20 years developing public-private partnerships and stakeholder networks.

Her sector experience includes; CSR, retail, marketing, tourism, operations and media

A fluent French and Italian speaker, she is accustomed to living and working in global environments and creating robust and sustainable partnerships with both local and national government. As well as leading local public relations and media, she is also responsible for the Bicester Village Apprenticeship Programme.

Miranda is connected to the Visitor Economy as Board Director of both Experience Oxfordshire and Shakespeare’s England. She is a Trustee of Oxford Brookes Students' Union and was one of the founding executive members of Bicester Vision.

Miranda has been a Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire since 2008 and lives in North Oxfordshire with her husband who farms locally.

She has two children and in her spare time her main hobby is watercolour and oil painting.
