Sarah joined OxLEP in January 2019, after a broad career spanning various roles in business and education. Sarah held various teaching positions which led on to regionally managing an award-winning social enterprise focussed on the development of young people aged 4 – 19, in preparation for life in the work place; developing enterprise and soft skills and providing aspirational experiences of the workplace. Sarah also worked as an Assistant Principal and set up her own business before relocating to Oxfordshire.
Sarah is passionate about building aspirations, inspiring young people, upskilling those already in the labour market, and ensuring accessible and engaging provision for those furthest from employment.
As Skills Policy Executive, Sarah is focussed on managing relationships and projects identified within the OxLEP Skills plan to support Oxfordshire Skills priorities.
