As the Growth Hub for Oxfordshire, it is our aim to simplify the business support landscape and help individuals and businesses to easily connect.
We're here to help small businesses (SMEs) find the support they need. We offer prompt, friendly, impartial advice and will signpost you to the right business support for you and your business by directing you to expert advice and national and local support programmes.
As the local enterprise partnership for Oxfordshire, we are supporting our business community during this challenging time by signposting our businesses to the correct, relevant information, helping you to operate as safely and efficiently as possible, whilst remaining productive.
We are currently working on making some changes to the format of the business support that we offer to ensure that we can best support the county’s businesses. For example, some of our workshops may have to be postponed or delivered via a digital platform, and the content and delivery may also change. Also, our 1:1 support will now be delivered via telephone / videocall. We will post regular updates on social media and keep in touch with anyone who has signed up to any of our events.
Within the Growth Hub, we manage the Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) and the eScalate programmes, which are funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and OxLEP.
The eScalate programme helps eligible small businesses (SMEs) through support which includes:
Access to 12 hours of 1:1 support for small businesses that are growing, have potential to grow or have an appetite to grow and are working towards increasing market share, revenues, staff or have struggled with access to finance or need investment readiness support.
A dedicated support programme delivered by six Hubs for small businesses that have a purpose beyond profit, are contributing to social and / or environmental good, would like to be more purposeful or are working on or want to work on a project which improves their social impact.
