OxLEP Annual Event 2021
Join us for this live, breakfast online event as we reflect on another unprecedented year not just for Oxfordshire, national and global economies – following the continued difficulties generated by the COVID-19 pandemic – but also, the role we have played as the Local Enterprise Partnership for Oxfordshire, supporting our business community to be the best they can be.
We will update our key stakeholders on our activities in-light of the pandemic and the UK's departure from the European Union, as well as the commitment and determination we have shown to ensure the county’s businesses are able to be resilient and remain productive during this time.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have engaged with over 2,600 Oxfordshire businesses (and counting), provided over 12,000 hours of business support and launched and committed £2m-plus of funding via our Business Investment Fund.
We have also administered in excess of £5million-worth of direct funding into businesses across multiple sectors. Over 800 businesses in the county were also supported with Brexit-specific advice.
Find out how we have continued that unwavering support for our business community, as well as how we have secured – and help leverage – further investment for the county’s key economic priorities. Discover how we have continued to help nurture a world-class innovation ecosystem that led the global response to the pandemic through the development of the Oxford vaccine, as well as championing the role Oxfordshire has to play in driving forward a zero-carbon future.
We will hear from OxLEP's chief executive Nigel Tipple and chair, Jeremy Long as well as a number of representatives across Oxfordshire’s business community. You will also get the opportunity to raise questions with OxLEP representatives, leading on a wide-variety of business support and skills development programmes.
We look forward to welcoming you on 7 December!
