Annual Report 2022/2023: Continuing to lead, deliver and champion for Oxfordshire

Welcome - Nigel Tipple for 22/23

Welcome: Nigel Tipple, Chief Executive

Our chief executive, Nigel Tipple, looks back on another significant year for OxLEP as our mission to support Oxfordshire's business community continues across many areas of our local economy.

Leading

Leading

From leading on the development of a new strategy that aims to support Oxfordshire's continued economic recovery, through to providing a new podcast platform that leads discussion across multiple areas of business, we have worked hard to ensure our role is positioned firmly at the forefront of the minds of our businesses and communities.

Delivering

Delivering

We have built a solid reputation over close to a decade of delivering for businesses, communities, education providers and many more groups across Oxfordshire.

It is our aim to continue to showcase Oxfordshire's economy by delivering support for our businesses, helping them to be the best they can possibly be.

Championing

Championing

From helping to secure inward investment opportunities to land in Oxfordshire, through to championing entrepreneurs and those with a business idea, plus looking at 'new ways' of working for our own staff, OxLEP has championed many different areas over the past 12 months.

Our governance and finances

Our governance and finances

We make every effort to ensure our decision-making is transparent, accountable and delivers the value for money that is expected of a government-funded organisation.

To underpin this, the Government ensure that we adhere to a National Assurance Framework, ensuring robust systems, protocols and processes are in place, right across our work.
