Over 3,000 creative and digital sector businesses are based in Oxfordshire, generating a total of £1.4billion to the UK economy each year.
This figure means that our county is one of the UK's top 'hot-spots' in relation to creative industries.
We are also the UK's largest centre of publishing outside of London, with major employers including the likes of Oxford University Press.
Oxfordshire’s strength and depth in ICT and related research - via the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University - involves 2,500 students in computer science, technology, cyber security, digital health and big data processing.
Meanwhile - the Oxford Cyber Security Cluster brings together excellence in cyber security across Oxfordshire, whilst we also boast recent major successes include Rebellion (which has over 300 staff across the UK) and PlinkArt (acquired by Google).
